Fitness, Mental Health, COVID-19, and the Workplace

With all of the shifts and adjustments all of us have had to make at home and work over the past five months, the proper attention to your health and wellness may have been placed on the lower end of your list of priorities. And if so, that is what we do not want. It is now more important than ever to prioritize our physical, mental, and emotional health by practicing healthy lifestyle habits.

Why? One thing we know for sure is that disease and illness is still prevalent in our society. Heart disease is still the leading cause of death for men, women, and people of most racial and ethnic groups in the United States. People are still having heart attacks. People are still having strokes. People are still being diagnosed with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, auto immune disorders, and cancer. And, people are dying from complications of these ailments and diseases.
